I have two new things to talk about when it comes to Hershey the Cat/St. John.

First off, Ken Penders revealed that Geoffrey and Hershey were never meant to hook up in The Lara-Su Chronicles in this tweet he made on his Twitter:

I replied to his tweet questioning asking who Geoffrey and Hershey were supposed to meet up with if they were never to be together, and he gave me this reply:

Geoffrey was always intended to play the field. No commitments. I focused on Knuckles and left Hershey for others to develop.

It's quite interesting to say the least. After all Karl Bollers did write the second story St. John + Hershey in: "Heart To Heart" in STH #118, as he did also write "Home" - Part 1 of 4: "The Blue Blur Returns!" in STH #130, which is the issue Geoffrey and Hershey get married.

Secondly, Nicolas the Mon @NicolasCarrero4 of Twitter asked what Hershey's breed was, and Ken replied by saying he never thought up of Hershey's breed, and he even went on to say that Hershey was meant to be an alien. Yes, you read that right... an alien. The tweet can be read here:

I replied asking whether all of the other Mobians were aliens, and he gave me this reply:

The Xorda was Karl's ret-con long after I came on the scene. I had to figure out an approach to the stories that made sense to me since no one was providing a guide book of what constituted a SONIC story. And sci-fi seemed the best way to go once I saw the SatAM series.

So yeah, that's also interesting too. Karl Bollers also wrote "Sonic Adventure 2.5 Omega" for STH #125 too.

That's it for this blog. What do you think of this?

I think Geoff and Hersh worked better together.
